3yr National Show Horse started undersaddle in June by Kandice Champion
Kandice Champion has been training horses since 1990. She has successfully started many horses kindly and correctly using a John Lyons based foundation. She has also taken many horses on to become champions in the show ring in Dressage, Hunt Seat, and Western. She has experience training Morgans and a variety of other breeds. Kandice Champion also has 15 years teaching experience working with all ages and levels of riders.
Dressage Training for all breeds
- Show Training - Horses worked five days a week for aproximately 1 hour. Huntseat, Western, Saddleseat, Halter. $450/month. (not including show day charges)
- Sport Horse Training - Horses worked five days a week for aproximately 1 hour. Dressage horses will begin training on muscle development and the fundamentals appropriate for their current level of training. Jumping Training horses are worked five days a week for aproximately 1 hour. Training is typically split up between gymnastic exercises and over fences work. Sport Horse Training for both disciplines is $450.00/month.
- Breaking Services - Horses are started kindly and correctly with a John Lyons foundation. The training is then focused toward the appropriate discipline according to the horses natural talent and ability. Training sessions are 5 days a week and are aproximately 1 hour. I only accept horses to break for a minimum of 90 days. I have seen the best long term results with a soild 90 day foundation of training. Breaking Services $500/month.
